This event will give you an opportunity to meet some of our current residents in a relaxed, less formal setting. Dress is whatever you feel comfortable in–jeans are fine. (Please note, full dinner will not be served.)
Please RSVP to tuhedchiefs@gmail.com by the night before the gathering so we know how many to expect.

Accommodations, Transportation and Parking
The Graduate Medical Education program website has information regarding Temple University Hospital. Here you can find hotel information; a map and a parking pass for your convenience.
Temple is easily accessible by Public transportation– most applicants will be traveling from Center City. We recommend taking the Broad Street Line (non-Express) to Allegheny Station and then walking two blocks north to Jones Hall. Philly public transit info is at http://www.septa.org/.

Interview Day
We make every effort to respect your time and travel needs on interview day. Please arrive at room 1026 on the 10th floor of Jones Hall ready for a 7:15AM start. We’ll have a light breakfast ready for you. Interview days begin with an introduction from the program leadership followed by interviews and tours in the morning. The day ends with an applicant lunch–an opportunity to spend time with our residents who can candidly share their experiences about the residency, finishing up by 1:30 p.m. If you would like to schedule time to observe in the ED, please contact us beforehand and we’ll set this up. Don’t hesitate to send us an email with any questions–we’re happy to help and we want you to have a great time getting to know the program.

Diversity
As an institution, Temple strongly values and is committed to building a diverse, inclusive and supportive environment for our residents. We offer the opportunity to meet with a member of our temple family/diversity committee on 12/19/19, 1/9/20, and 1/16/20, and encourage applicants interested in this opportunity to interview on these dates if able. If you are would like to set up a meeting on these dates or any other interview date, please reach out to the chiefs at tuhedchiefs@gmail.com who would be more than happy to set something up.
